Prime Minister Special JK Scholarship Scheme PMSSS
- This scholarship is open to students who have passed the Class 12 examination from the Jammu and Kashmir Board or CBSE-affiliated schools in J&K.
- The student is required to pursue a General, Professional, or Medical degree course from a pre-determined list of colleges.
- The students must wish to take admission outside the Jammu & Kashmir state only.
- The annual income of the student’s family should be less than ₹8,00,000. Also, students who have completed a 10+3 Diploma from Jammu & Kashmir State Polytechnics can apply directly for the vacancies in the second year.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Jammu and Kashmir ST Students
- The students must be residing in Jammu & Kashmir.
- The applicant must be from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
- Candidates must be students from class 11 to postdoctoral level.
- Additionally, students must belong to a family whose income does not exceed ₹2,00,000 per annum from all sources.
Combined Counselling Board (CCB) Jammu and Kashmir Scholarship
Students studying at college or university level (pursuing a diploma, a degree, or postgraduate level courses) can apply for this scholarship. Students must have secured at least 40% to 50% marks in the previous examination.
